From the heart of European innovation and collaboration comes the Alliance4XR project, Co-Funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

Comprising a multidisciplinary consortium of 13 partners across eight (8) different European countries, spread across eight European countries, Alliance4XR is the perfect synergy between academia and industry. 

Each partner brings unique and complementary expertise, essential to the success of the project. From quality management to platform development, each entity plays a crucial role in the realization of an innovation alliance that promises to revolutionize Extended Reality (XR) training.

Meet the partners

GEOimaging Ltd (GEO)

GeoImaging Ltd stands as a beacon of innovation in geomatics and surveying engineering. This SME excels in ICT projects, VR, topography, GIS, GPS, research, drone 3D mapping, and cartography, marking its presence with cutting-edge solutions.
Main Role in Alliance4XR: In Alliance4XR, GeoImaging’s role is crucial, focusing on quality management, dissemination, and sustainability. They are the driving force in sectors such as grids and energy, maps, and location-based services, steering platform development from databases to architecture.
Exploitation: GeoImaging will leverage project web tools to enhance services or start new ventures. Committed to the project's continuity, they seek new networks, partnerships in new markets, and explore interdisciplinary ideas for innovative proposals. Their research dedication includes publishing scientific articles and presenting project processes globally at scientific and innovation events.

Aristotle University of Thessaloniki

Greece’s largest educational institution, is a hub of academic excellence. Nestled in Thessaloniki’s urban heart, AUTH covers 33.4 hectares with 10 faculties and 40 schools.
Main Role in Alliance4XR: AUTH’s pivotal role in Alliance4XR involves crafting syllabi and updating educational materials, particularly for sectors like grids and energy. Their commitment extends to rigorous testing and refinement of these materials, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
Exploitation: AUTH integrates Alliance4XR’s curricula for AR, VR, and XR skills, aiming to enhance education quality and reduce social isolation. By offering programs to boost digital and green skills, AUTH strives for global recognition, strengthening EU partnerships and providing advanced academic experiences worldwide.

CEEI Valencia

The European Business and Innovation Center of Valencia (CEEI Valencia) is a non-profit association established in 1991, dedicated to fostering innovation centers and supporting entrepreneurial ventures.
Main Role in Alliance4XR: CEEI Valencia orchestrates the dissemination of the Alliance4XR project, connecting innovative startups and SMEs in the XR sector, and validating methodologies and tools in academic and vocational settings.
Exploitation: CEEI Valencia leverages project outcomes to support entrepreneurs and startups. With vast experience, their network ensures stakeholder engagement. The communication department excels in project management, media engagement, and utilizing social networks. CEEI's web platform and social channels showcase Alliance4XR, sharing insights widely.

Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute (CMMI)

CMMI excels as a Centre of Excellence in marine and maritime research, driving sustainable Blue Growth. With 10 R&I Centers, it’s a pioneer in marine observation, robotics, and digitalization.
Main Role in Alliance4XR: CMMI’s role is to align green agendas with digital skills, train engineers, and tailor test materials for marine professions, ensuring industry relevance and innovation.
Exploitation: CMMI will utilize Alliance4XR’s curricula, infusing modern techniques to enhance capabilities. It aims to continue the project’s legacy through Blue CoVE, seeking HRDA accreditation for courses that support the Blue Economy’s transition, and fostering new collaborations.

EUROXR

Founded in 2010, EuroXR is a leading umbrella organization uniting XR enthusiasts, from individuals to SMEs and research bodies, all dedicated to advancing Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality.
Main Role in Alliance4XR: EuroXR sets the bar for XR requirements and market needs, updates results through its network, appoints ambassadors, and ensures institutional adoption of project outcomes.
Exploitation: EuroXR champions the dissemination of Alliance4XR, promoting research and development across online and offline platforms. It creates networking opportunities, supports XR events, and collaborates with an international consortium, solidifying its role as a central XR hub.

Virtual Solutions

Based in Mesopotamia, Kastoria, Virtual Solutions is a creative force crafting advanced mixed reality experiences. Their global projects, powered by accessible web technologies, transcend device limitations.
Main Role in Alliance4XR: Virtual Solutions spearheads platform and toolkit development, ensuring seamless integration and user-friendly interfaces for diverse mixed reality applications.
Exploitation: Leveraging Alliance4XR’s platform technology, Virtual Solutions is set to launch an online marketplace for educational content, expanding their service offerings and exploring innovative technology applications.

Escola Profissional de Espinho

CEPROF, a distinguished VET school in Portugal since 1990, excels in vocational education. It’s committed to developing and enhancing professional skills through quality training.
Main Role in Alliance4XR: CEPROF crafts quality management policies, designs VET materials, delivers EQF4 level training, institutionalizes methodologies, and collaborates with national associations for widespread adoption of results.
Exploitation: CEPROF will embed Alliance4XR’s innovations into its Mechatronics and Management Informatics VET curricula. With an annual review and update standard since 1990, CEPROF ensures its programs remain at the forefront of vocational training, reflecting the latest industry standards and technological advancements.

SchooVR

SchooVR champions empowering educators and engaging students worldwide with impactful, tech-enhanced learning. The platform, crafted by teachers, offers curated educational experiences and resources.
Main Role in Alliance4XR: SchooVR analyzes market needs and job skills, defines curricula, and scales up project results. As a VET enabler for Ireland, it facilitates the integration of immersive learning tools.
Exploitation: SchooVR’s research develops immersive pedagogical methods, collaborating with higher education for practical application. It aims to expand networks, partner with new institutions, and leverage knowledge transfer to bolster its services.

Novogit AB

Novogit stands as a GIS and SDI consultancy leader, enhancing the GI sector with top-tier services in Spatial Data Infrastructures, EU initiatives like INSPIRE, Geomatics, and urban applications.
Main Role in Alliance4XR: Novogit’s expertise shapes syllabus updates, job profiles, new skills creation, methodology validation, and quality assurance, ensuring the project’s educational materials are cutting-edge and industry-relevant.
Exploitation: Leveraging its vast experience, Novogit will incorporate project methodologies into its service portfolio, enhancing QA/QE/QC practices. The firm plans to utilize training materials and tools from the project to expand its Swedish market presence, reinforcing its commitment to advancing the GI sector.

Sensorama Lab LLC

Sensorama thrives in VR and AR application development, 3D modeling, animation, and 360 video production. Since its inception in 2017, the company has grown to over 30 employees, each skilled in bringing ideas to life through immersive technologies.
Main Role in Alliance4XR: Sensorama’s expertise in VR and AR production and consultancy is pivotal. They guide the adoption of XR technologies across enterprises and industries, enhancing the project’s technological framework.
Exploitation: Sensorama will leverage the project’s web tools, utilizing code and UX/UI designs to enhance services and develop new offerings. Eager to ensure the project’s longevity, they plan to join the succession exploitation scheme. By forging new networks and embracing interdisciplinary concepts, Sensorama aims to innovate and expand its research and development horizons.

Technical Chamber of Greece

Founded in 1923, TEE – TCG is a public entity with a rich history, dedicated to advancing engineering sciences and technology in Greece, with a focus on sustainable development.
Main Role in Alliance4XR: TEE – TCG’s role encompasses the uptake, dissemination, and exploitation of results, along with conducting an online training pilot for its extensive network of engineers.
Exploitation: The Central Macedonia Section will utilize and disseminate project outcomes, drawing on TEE/TKM’s educational expertise to organize online training for members, enhancing professional development.

Universidade do Minho

The University of Minho, established in 1973, is a beacon of academic excellence in Portugal, known for its three campi in Braga and Guimarães. It’s recognized for fostering international prominence in higher education.
Main Role in Alliance4XR: The University of Minho is instrumental in defining syllabi and updating materials, focusing on databases, spatial dimensions, grids, and the construction sector, ensuring educational content is at the forefront of industry needs.
Exploitation: The University of Minho plans to enhance its research services using the project’s results. It will expand research networks, collaborate with new market institutions, and explore interdisciplinary concepts, leading to innovative proposals and scientific publications.

University Collage Dublin

UCD, a prestigious university in Europe, is renowned for its comprehensive education and research. With a global presence, it’s ranked in the top 1% of institutions worldwide, offering state-of-the-art facilities across its expansive Dublin campus.
Main Role in Alliance4XR: UCD analyzes market needs, defines curricula, and updates educational materials, focusing on the fundamentals of XR. It ensures the content is relevant and up-to-date for the evolving job market.
Exploitation: The UCD School of Education will utilize the project’s learning resources to innovate in education and engineering. By promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in STEM, UCD aims to enhance learning through VR and publish findings in academic journals.
