Alliance4XR Presented at the 3rd Meeting of the Assembly Presidium of the Technical Chamber of Greece (Section of Central Macedonia)

Last week, the project team of Alliance4XR made a compelling presentation at the 3rd conference of the Assembly Presidium of the Technical Chamber of Greece, Section of Central Macedonia (TEE/TKM).

The event, held in the Amphitheater of TEE/TKM, aimed to inform the Assembly Presidium about the activities of the Executive Committee while showcasing the groundbreaking potential of XR technologies in the engineering sector.

During the presentation, the Alliance4XR team introduced the project’s goals, emphasizing the importance of bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical training through the use of virtual reality (XR). The discussion highlighted how XR could empower engineers in structural engineering, energy, and maritime industries, addressing a critical need in modern professional development.

Key details about the project were shared, including its duration and its collaboration with partners from eight different countries. The team also elaborated on the new trends in XR technology within the engineering sector and encouraged engineers to embrace these innovations to enhance their expertise and capabilities.

At the conclusion of the session, the audience was introduced to the project’s learning materials and platform, which aim to support engineers in becoming proficient with XR applications. The event successfully disseminated valuable information about Alliance4XR, sparking interest and discussions among the engineers present.
