Today, Alliance4XR hosted a dynamic online event aimed at addressing the challenges of adopting Extended Reality (XR), including Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR), across education, research, and industry. To ensure broad participation and collaboration, the session utilized the Miro platform, enabling interactive discussions in breakout groups.
Participants explored key issues such as the integration of XR technologies, high initial costs, lack of standardization, and scaling barriers. They shared real-world experiences and creative strategies for overcoming these hurdles. One of the event’s major highlights was the focus on cross-sector collaboration, where participants exchanged best practices and discussed potential frameworks for standardization.
